in the kitbag

Have you ever enjoyed a good meal and then asked the cook what pots and pans were used to cook it? Probably not... yet the first questions we often ask of a photographer are: 'what camera do you use?' and 'which lens did you take that shot with..?'

Knowing the technical details can of course be instructive and help us to learn new techniques. But sometimes I wonder if it just gets in the way of simply enjoying the shot as a great image.

However, since I generally ask these questons too (!) ...this is the kit I use:
cameras
Nikon D300
Nikon D200 (underwater)
Ricoh GX200
iPhone
